The KS039 is a test and evaluation breakout board for the Texas Instruments DRV8870DDAR H-bridge motor driver IC. It drives a single brushed DC motor bidirectionally at 6.5–12V (higher voltages are supported with PWM), with user-adjustable overcurrent protection via a trimmer resistor.

Simple pull-to-ground logic inputs allow direct connection to 3.3V and 5V MCU pins — no level shifting needed. LED indicators provide instant visual confirmation of motor direction and fault state.
