Every board in this store exists because we needed it for a real project and couldn’t find a version that was affordable, well-documented, or built to a standard we actually trusted. So we started designing our own.
What we build
These are evaluation boards, breakout modules, and small utility PCBs aimed at engineers and makers who are tired of fighting their hardware. Motor drivers, sensor modules, LED controllers, power-distribution boards — the unglamorous building blocks that should just work, so you can focus on the actual project.
Each board ships with a proper datasheet, not a half-finished wiki page. If we wouldn’t trust it in our own projects, it doesn’t go up for sale.
Design philosophy
A few rules guide every board that comes out of this shop:
- Single-supply operation wherever possible — fewer rails to wire up
- Polarised friction-fit connectors — no reverse-insertion mistakes, and more reliable than DuPont pin headers for anything beyond a quick bench test
- Clear LED indicators for power, data, and fault states
- Documented specs, with no surprise gotchas buried in the fine print
DuPont connections have their place in prototyping, but for boards that are going into a real build, a polarised friction-fit connector is the right call. It seats properly, stays put, and eliminates a whole class of wiring errors.
Where it started
LEK Electronics began life as a physical electronics store in Indonesia, selling components and modules both in-store and on Tokopedia. The parts we stocked were the same parts we used in our own everyday work — if we kept it on hand for ourselves, we kept it in stock for customers too. That hands-on experience — helping customers track down the right part, debug a flaky connection, or understand a datasheet — shaped how we design and document everything we sell now.
Where it’s made
LEK Electronics is based in Singapore. Boards are designed, tested, and shipped from here — small-batch, with the same attention to detail whether you’re ordering one board or ten.
