The KS009 I2C Extender lets you run an I2C bus up to 50 metres over standard twisted-pair cable (or equivalent), using the TI P82B715D bus extender IC. Place one board at each end of the cable run — the minimum setup is two boards, one near the host and one near the remote I2C device.

Multiple remote devices can share the same extended bus using a multi-drop topology. Signal integrity is maintained for cables carrying up to 3000pF capacitance.
